Do you offer online therapy in Massachusetts?
Yes. I'm licensed in Massachusetts (LICSW #122736) and see clients located anywhere in the state through secure video sessions.
Do you offer online therapy in New York?
Yes. I'm licensed in New York (LCSW-R #087953) and see clients located anywhere in New York State through secure video sessions.
Do you take insurance?
I'm in-network with CDPHP, Highmark Blue Shield of Northeastern New York, and MVP Health Care. If I'm out of network with your plan, I can provide a Superbill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
How much does a session cost?
Individual sessions are $200. A sliding scale is available — ask if you may be eligible.
Do you see clients in person?
No — my practice is fully online. Sessions are held by secure video for clients located in New York, Massachusetts, or Florida.
Who do you work with?
I work with individual adults, including elders (65+). I don't currently see children, teens, or couples.
What is a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)?
A Highly Sensitive Person processes the world more deeply — emotions, sensory input, other people's moods. It's a trait, not a disorder, but it can make stress and overwhelm hit harder. Therapy can help you work with your sensitivity rather than against it.
What does spirituality in therapy mean?
It means your faith or spirituality is welcome in our work together if it matters to you — in any tradition, or none at all. I don't impose any belief system; I respect yours as part of who you are.
What happens in the free 15-minute consultation?
It's a relaxed phone call — a chance to share what's on your mind, ask questions, and get a feel for whether we'd work well together. No pressure, no commitment.
When are sessions available?
My general availability is Monday through Thursday, 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Where are you based?
My practice is based in Albany, New York. Sessions are fully online, by secure video, for adults located anywhere in New York, Massachusetts, or Florida.
Can I have sessions with you if I'm in another state?
I can only see clients who are located in New York, Massachusetts, or Florida at the time of each session, because those are the three states where I'm licensed.
Do you accept Medicare?
No, I don't accept Medicare. I still work with adults of all ages, including elders (65+), who pay privately or use other coverage.
How do I check whether my plan covers sessions?
Call the member services number on your insurance card and ask about outpatient mental health benefits for online sessions with an in-network licensed clinical social worker. Your plan decides what it covers, including any copay or deductible.
